Data Analyst - Risk Domain wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Expertise in running data quality controls ideally within an Investment Banking or Risk Control function
- Excellent experience in data analysis
- Experience using statistical software such as SAS, R, Stata and Matlab as well as basic coding skills specifically in python would be a plus
- Proficiency in using of Microsoft Office applications. Advanced skills in Excel and VBA is advantageous
- University degree, preferably in Business, Math or Economics
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Preprocessing inbound data and covering stress and statistical risk measures
- Checking data quality on all data and sourcing data from upstream providers through various manual processes and automated deliveries
- Participation in different projects
- Reviewing data quality exceptions created in accordance with the guidelines and principles defined in Risk's control framework
- Ensuring complete, accurate and timely population of data in the Risk Control infrastructure
- Identifying and coordinating the resolution of data quality issues as well as performing UAT on inbound to identify impacts on data in production due to system changes
