Architect - Basel

This very exciting opportunity is a contracting position planned to start the 1st March until the 31st of August for one of the biggest pharmaceutical players based in Basel.
The project:
Reporting to the Lead Architect STRIDE, the STRIDE Architecture Modeler is responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture models across system architecture, process architecture and data architecture (STRIDE = System TRansformation Initiative for Development Excellence).
Further the STRIDE Architecture Modeler is responsible to support the STRIDE program Lead Solution Architects in creating content/models for their respective Architecture Handbook, and reviewing Architecture Handbook in scope.
In addition the STRIDE Architecture Modeler is the SPoC to the iServer team for any meta model changes required by STRIDE, and for iServer content governance in the STRIDE library of iServer.
Major Activities:
. In collaboration with Process Architecture work-stream, Data Governance team and with System Architecture work-stream, to evolve the iServer architecture models.
. Maintain iServer architecture models across the different waves and programs, and ensure consistency within STRIDE library (content governance).
. Provide guidance and training on tool and methodology to the STRIDE program architecture teams.
. Perform and coordinate formal reviews of the Architecture Handbook (AH) in scope of STRIDE, and potentially AHs beyond.
. Help to specify and oversee any required change in iServer required by STRIDE and DIT. Communicate and align with iServer team on implementation of those changes.
You bring for this role the following qualifications:
- First Degree in Technology, Life Sciences or related.
- Senior subject matter expert (TOGAF, UML, BPMN, ITIL)
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Well rounded with a good mix of technical, business, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient skills in teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, working in a Matrix environment and conflict resolution. Working and Managing in cross- functional teams.
- Enterprise Architecture modelling skills
- Experience with tools like iServer, Sparx Enterprise Architects, Altova XMLSpy, ERWin Data Modeler, BPMN modelling tools, PleaseReview, HP ALM, Informatica
- Great at execution of assigned activities, self-managed
- Participate in innovation discussions
