For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a Quant specialist - Requirement Engineer
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months initial contract
Location: Zurich
In this project you will help to understand complex business requirements for different stakeholders, eg their impact on quantitative models and performance of IT systems.
Skills and experience needed:
* Scientific or technical education from good university
* Problem solving
* Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding.
* Experience in analysing financial instrument data across asset classes
* Lead requirements elicitation workshops.
* Experience in gathering requirements and being able to propose requirements and validate them with stakeholders
* Hands-on quant and development previous experience
* Python knowledge is a plus
* Machine learning knowledge is a plus
* Experience in the Financial Services Industry, especially in Banking
* Data Quality & Backtesting knowledge is a plus
* Risk Management & Portfolio Optimization knowledge is a plus
