SAP Business Change Manager (French Speaking) - Geneva, Switzerland - 12 Months

My client is looking for a SAP Business Change Manager for a long term project based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to drive the required business change activities for a site to deliver a sustainable improvement aligned to the programme goals.

This includes delivering:

(a) All necessary changes prior to the client's systems implementation to align to capabilities, process and data standards

(b) Necessary changes during the deployment of the client's system, eg realised through training and education programmes

(c) Ongoing performance process to sustain and continuously improve performance and ensure standards are in place/in use after implementation of the system. Provide robust hand-over when the project ends.

Accountability:

Primary deliverables of role; it's scope; impact on strategy, policy, business or people relationships

1. Driving the change in a site

The SIM (Site Implementation Manager) will co-ordinate effectively with the Business Change Lead.

2. Manages the site business change plan

Through the team at site implement a specific transformation plan that will map out activities at all stages of the programme, ie.

o Deliver business improvement (eg reduced cost, working capital or improved GMS performance) prior to deployment by simplifying and standardising ways of working eg changing ways of working to enable the removal of customizations to the current client systems's templates or standardizing ways of working to align with future business processes.

o Adress identified impacts of business change prior to deployment including data standardization, staff capability building to operate the new template and enhancing change management capability.

o Detailed plan of activities during deployment (including but not limited to data readiness, training, communications, role mapping and procedure changes). This plan will be developed by the site team with guidance of the Core Business Change.

o Plan to sustain and continuously improve performance after deployment.

As part of this plan drives change actions relating to the overall cultural and behavioural changes required as well as specific business process changes.

Assesses change readiness reviewing the governance processes to ensure that site business change plan is comprehensive and aligned to the overall site targets and standards.

Escalates any proposed localizations/deviations from standards/refinements to standards through Site Implementation Manager to the Core Business Change Lead.

Facilitate the site business readiness assessments and deployment readiness assessments incorporating go/no-go criteria.

Establishes and drives a performance management framework to ensure that the site delivers to the agreed schedule and the programme delivers the desired improvement in outcome measures.

Identifies role and organizational changes resulting from the impact of change analysis.

3. Maintains the SAP System Programme deployment schedule at site

Assesses the impact of major business changes ( eg Acquisitions/Divestments, launch dates for major new products) on the deployment schedule.

4. Tracks delivery of SAP System Programme Training & Education Programme

Tracks deliver of the Training Programme for the site or function against the Training deployment and effectiveness metrics.

5. Coordinates SAP System Communications & Stakeholder Management Plan

Manages the plan for communicating to the site implementation teams and associated stakeholders to ensure compelling, consistent and timely communication of key messages.

Use of ADP methodology

Use of business change management toolkit

2. Participates in the network of site business change for the Programme.

Complexity

Role shapes and drives a change plan through to post deployment.

Role routinely interacts with multiple stakeholders at the site.

Works closely with the deployment team.

Specialised Knowledge:

Experience of using business change management methodologies (eg BCM, ADP) to drive significant change programmes.

Knowledge of OE Lean Foundation tools and experience of applying to transform a business

Depth of knowledge and experience in GMS operations, acquired through leadership roles

Experience of major IT system deployments at sites eg LIFT

Knowledge of MRP systems gained through either a site or functional role

Skills and Capabilities:

Enabling and Driving Change: The holder of this role must possess skills/capabilities in leading and driving changes

Business Credibility - The holders of the Business Change Lead roles must possess the credibility to deliver the SAP System Simplification Programme goals for the site

Continuous Improvement - They must be capable of setting clear goals and tracking the realization of these goals through business changes and systems implementation programmes.

Highly Structured Analytical Approach - They must be capable of shaping and operating within a highly structured and standardized framework for driving business change. Demonstrate well developed problem solving and root causing capability.

Consulting skills - Interpersonal skills that are capable of building relationships across different stakeholder and functional groups, capturing and aligning inputs from these groups then driving them to an agreed direction

Teamwork - They must be capable of working effectively in large, complex cross functional teams

Communication - They will be capable of communicating simple and compelling messages that summarise the overall programme direction and the benefits of the client.
