Senior Project Manager (SAP/eWM)We are a Life Science and IT service provider that has been successfully carrying out ‘state-of-the- art’ projects for international customers for more than 20 years. Our consultants mainly work on our customer’s premises, integrated in the customer’s project team.

Background:
The project in scope is currently in the designed phase. The aim of this project is to replace the Packaging Warehouse System (LVS, Lager Verpackung System) with SAP eWM.
We are looking for a contractor who will take over the role as Senior IPM (Informatics Project Manager) in the ERP side, based on our clients methodology (PMM).
The IPM will work together with other PMs and the Solution Owner in ERP.
Tasks:
Accountability & Impact: Responsible for project or program deliverables on behalf of the whole team. Impact occurs within project or program for one or more business areas.
Interactions: Represent the organization as the prime project or program contact. Interact with senior customers and vendors on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Ability to plan, execute and track against a strategy for offsite/offshore resource activities.
IT Process Improvement & Orientation: Design and implement new processes within the project and across the program. Operate as the subject matter expert on a process.
Information & Communication: Communicate complex information, issues and potential solutions with and across Informatics, including senior IT management, and direct to senior customers.
Leadership & Influence: Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of others (team lead). Limited direction needed from Portfolio Project Manager/PPM.
Organization & Prioritization: Proven track record and complete/full understanding and demonstrated abilities in project management skills and other related disciplines. Technical skills include industry and business knowledge. Manage schedule, resource and financial plans for multiple projects and/or program of projects.
Qualifications:
Education: BA (Bachelor of Arts) or BS (Bachelor of Science) degree. At this level, post-graduate coursework may be desired.
PMI PMP certification or equivalent required.
8+ years of relevant experience in a multinational company as IPM in the area of SAP (at least 2/3 years of experience in including a full-life cycle implementation)
Knowing SAP eWM is highly recommended (in general having SAP Knowledge is a must)
Excellent English speaking
Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a “thinker”)
Proactive investigation of issues and functionalities that may be required
Great communication skills (excellent English language skills)
Great team player
Strong leadership skills and proven track record of decision taking and escalations handling
CSV background and experience in working with IT Quality
Nice to Haves:
Former Pharma experience is a big plus (ideally having worked together with one or more business functions and IT in the past)
German speaking would be a big advantage
Experience in multi-site deployment project
Experience in leading teams
