eCommerce Application Specialist

BRINE SA is currently looking for eCommerce Application Specialist for our client in Lausanne area.

Main purpose of the job

  • To support the eCommerce solution set, used by over 46 markets around the world, Issues are escalated to the global support team by the markets when there are technical or functional issues they are unable to solve, or require coordination activities.

  • The mission of this role is to effectively provide 3rd level technical and functional support to the eCommerce area, ensure adequate communication of support activities, ensure adequate knowledge management of all resolution activities and provide training to eCommerce support team members.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle, analyse and solve incidents and tickets resolution related to eCommerce.

  • Driving root cause analysis and problem investigation.

  • Train the level 1 and 2 teams in order to avoid the re-occurrence of the incidents.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ensuring adequate communication of resolution activities by updating the corporate ticketing tool.

  • Ensuring adequate knowledge management of all resolution activities to ensure the greater re-use of resolution instructions based on known errors.

  • Minimize exposure to risk of eCommerce business activities by providing timely support.

  • Proactively monitor the platform to ensure high availability of all eCommerce and mCommerce services.

  • Support business teams (eg Webmasters, markets) in configuration activities and assist project teams in roll outs.

  • Eradicate business disruptions by performing root cause analysis and the identification of follow up actions to prevent similar incidents to occur again.

  • Participate to the future IS tools evolution and deployment

Dimensions/KPIs

  • Adherence to the defined SLAs and SLOs

  • The internal compliance dashboard is up-to-date and the measures reach the defined targets

  • Levels of stakeholder satisfaction regarding the adequate coordination and communication of incident resolution activities.

  • Number of degraded periods versus actual outages

  • Number of feature activations and eCommerce roll outs in markets.

  • Stakeholder satisfaction of support coverage/quality

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems Management or similar (HES, HEC or University)

  • 3-10 year experience in supporting eCommerce systems in large multinational companies

  • Prior experience in application support with knowledge of key support processes

  • Very good Knowledge of SQL and Linux.

  • Incident & problem management in a large organization, including incident management systems and tools.

  • ITIL V3 certification level of knowledge of Incident, Request & Problem Management.

  • Some knowledge of ERP business processes in eCommerce.

  • Excellent Communication skills - both in technical and business process terms

  • Knowledge of Service Management/dev tools such as HPSM, JIRA.

  • Able to manage and prioritize a large workload

  • Strong analytical skills in functional & technical areas.

  • Performance knowledge would be a plus
