Senior Vendor Manager/RFP Specialist, Banking Job Zurich
A leading tier-1 banking client are seeking a Senior Vendor Manager/Request for proposal specialist to help find a solution to an ageing rule engine which is sitting in the Global Securities Markets area of the bank.
The client are looking either to upgrade their current system through vendors who or to enter a managed service environment. The current engine deals with capturing all incoming trades and making sure they fit to current regulations As the successful candidate you will run this RFP and see it through till implementation.
This is a business critical project which requires someone very senior who has proven success at running and managing RFP processes.
You will be dealing with a number of highly established vendors who you need to manage and mediate effectively.
Managing RFP processes needs to be something that you have been doing consistently just being part of an RFP process is not what is the client is looking for.
All this needs to come from a banking/financial background, predominantly from the business.
