For a 6 months project at our banking clients' site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

German speaking Business Analyst - Company Policies (3869)

This role deals with analysis and design of business processes in the policy area of the client: content-creation process (authoring) and content-provisioning to the users (consuming). Your core task is to derive new requirements and process definitions from it and contribute to the design of new functionality, fitting into the framework given by the vendor’s product our client is implementing.

Your skills:

-5+ years experiences in business analysis and requirements engineering
-Able to act between the business and the development team (vendor) and the IT team (implementation/integration)
-Manage requirements through the entire software development life cycle
-Strong analytical skills: ability to write clear and concise functional specifications, confident to push back on unclear requirements
-Experience in GUI design and/or visualization and technical backend service description (interfaces)
-Profound knowledge of content management systems and processes (e.g. FileNet)
-Writing and modelling skills, to communicate information effectively and represent requirements information in graphical forms
-Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodology
-Experience in international projects preferred
-Fluent in German and English

About the job:

-Responsible for the requirements engineering process; analyse, structure and document business requirements
-Create and deliver BA/RE work products, such as functional/non-functional requirements, business rules, use-cases, design of screen mock-ups, report specifications, etc.
-Manage requirement gathering and change process (business/IT/vendor workshops, version control, sign off meetings, etc.)
-In between business stakeholders, IT team and vendor
-Use of industry standards (like use cases, UML, flow charts, state diagrams etc.)
-Support the testing team in setting up test cases for the requirements
-Support the business team in the execution of the user acceptance testing
-Support the business in planning the business rollout of new processes and the new solution
-Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and further obligations
-Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
