Für unseren Kunden in Basel suchen wir per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung einen "Professional Project Coordinator and Test Manager".Background
The project will implement a commercial software solution with an external provider in a phased roll-out approach over the course of 2016 and beginning of 2017. This software shall replace the current internal solution which does not fulfil the user needs anymore.
The software solution will have to fulfil the needs of a broad diverse scientific user community as well as
specific technical requirements (e.g. around access management and diverse integration points).
The NADAL project is a global project that will affect users at all research sites. In 2016 the biggest impact
will be in Basel (Switzerland), Shanghai (China), and potentially Tokyo (Japan). The project team consists of
20 members distributed across Basel, Shanghai, potentially Tokyo, and Germany/USA (solution provider).
The key customer representatives are located in Basel, Shanghai, and potentially Tokyo.
The Position
With immediate effect we are looking to fill a full-time combined position of a project coordinator and test
manager to support the NADAL project during the implementation phase. The project coordinator and test
manager will
• support the NADAL project management office in all administrative duties and tasks
• support the NADAL stream leads and project team members
• support the NADAL acceptance testing team
• maintain the project documentation and project plan
• maintain risk and benefits registers
• project tracking (budget, resources, timelines, deliverables, changes, decisions)
• prepare project documents (communications, presentations)
• organize meetings and meeting facilities
• organize trainings and training facilities
• prepare and participate in project management office meetings
• participate in project meetings and write minutes
• follow-up on action items and tasks
• coordinate activities across project streams and with external vendor
• write test specifications with a diverse group of Subject Matter Experts
• organize training facilities (approx. 50 sessions on 2-3 sites)
• prepare and maintain training schedules (for approx. 500 users on 2-3 sites)
• organize UAT (User Acceptance Testing) facilities (for 3 cycles of UAT on 2-3 sites)
• coordinate UAT attendees (approx. 20 attendees)
• coordinate UAT execution (on 2-3 sites)
• document UAT outcomes
• follow-up with project team, testers, and external vendor
Requirements
• minimum of 2 years’ experience and a track record in successfully coordinating large, complex research IT projects
• minimum of 2 years’ experience in successfully implementing and executing deployments of software solutions to a diverse user community
• several years of experience and a track record in development and execution of user acceptance tests
• broad knowledge of project and test coordination and management including corresponding methods and software tools
• good understanding of early pharmaceutical research
• ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks independently and reliably deliver according to agreed timelines
• excellent administrative and facilitation skills
• significant experience in working across cultures and time zones
• excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
• navigates flexibly between detail-oriented work and high-level abstract thinking
• quick learner and an excellent team player
• able to work in a dynamic customer oriented environment
