For a long-term project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedGerman speaking Financial Accountant - Group Bonus Audit (3525)
In this interesting role, you are part of the team responsible for the management and coordination of the annual group bonus audit.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in finance, controlling or a related function mandatory
- 1-2 years project management experience / Proven project management skills are beneficial
- Proven track record of change management
- Strong analytical and conceptual review skills, detailed oriented, motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced changing environment with little supervision
- Good team player who actively contributes and has a high level of motivation to overcome obstacles and has a positive approach in the face of difficulty
- Strong MS office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible various deliverables in the field of Financial Accounting & Compensation
- Responsible for the planning, write ups, co-ordination and delivery of the offshore activities
- Management and ownership of month end closing activities
- Management and resolution of queries (audit, location, business controllers, senior management etc.)
- Responsible for complete, relevant and up to date documentation (procedures, processes etc.)
- Prepare monthly reporting and analysis package for senior management
- Constructively challenge processes and responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective process is in place that eliminates manual tasks and limits risk exposure
- Responsible for Ad-hoc and standard reporting
