General information:
- Position: VBA/Python Data Manager (Investment Management Systems)
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: until end of 2023
- Location: Zurich/hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to secure and improve the Monitoring and Control Framework that has been programmed to ensure that portfolios adhere to the criteria as defined in the Sustainable Investment Framework
- Responsibility for ESG data interfaces (eg MSCI ESG or Sustainalytics data into our Portfolio Management system Aladdin by BlackRock)
- Main contact point for quantitative in-house ESG data analysis
- Support function for our internal business partners within Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Index Solutions and Credit Investment Group when it comes to portfolio ESG analysis and portfolio simulations
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong proficiency in coding (eg Python, R, VBA) and ability to read and understand existing code (in VBA)
2. Working experience as a data manager
3. Knowledge of investment management in equities and Fixed Income
4. Fluency in English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
1. Masters' degree (MSc, MBA or others) and meaningful job experience in the fields of big data, data management, and/or information technology.
2. Experience in providing ESG data analysis for client presentations and request for proposals (RfPs)
