IT- Senior Buyer
Our client is active in the Biopharmaceuticals industry and they are currently searching for an IT Senior Buyer who has a proven track record of Procurement and experience in buying/Procurement activities.
Your tasks include
* Purchasing of raw materials, auxiliary materials and services for the subsidiaries in Switzerland and the EU.
* Daily processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders
* Monitoring and adjustment of delivery dates according to suppliers order confirmations, informing the business manager in case of delivery delays
* Internal escalation in case of delivery delays and working out alternative solutions together with production planning and other departments
* Handling returns, complaints and claims
* Supporting the finance department with incoming invoices
* Processing of change notifications from suppliers
* Obtaining quotations and price negotiations, correspondence with suppliers, customers and internal departments
* Maintenance and review of material and supplier master data in Procurement
* Assist Finance Department with Sarbanes-Oxley audits, along with other various financial audits
* Support Change Controls, Deviations and CAPA's as required
* Support site and global sourcing activities as directed by manager
* Collaboration in defined projects (e.g. new product lines)
* Creation and monitoring of procurement KPI

The ideal candidate will have:
* Completed training in a technical or commercial profession, (specialized training in logistics and/or materials management would be an advantage)
* At least 5 years of professional experience and thereof at least 3 years of experience in operational procurement, disposition, materials management or logistics (preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry)
* Good ERP (SAP ECC / Hana) and MS Office skills
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* Very good time management and organizational skills
* Strong communication skills and multi-tasking
* Strong work ethic and high integrity
