This position is a consultant role, which is foreseen to support our engineering team in a 2-3 years project, with the possibility of extension.
Direct reporting to Customer & Network Projects Team Leader within the Technical Operations department.
- Prepares NIR calculations in accordance with NISV based on the information collected from the field and from authorities in coordination with other internal departments, customers and partners
- Is in regular contact with operators' radio planners in the approval phase of the NIR calculations to find solutions and ensure optimization for new and/or existing mobile telecommunications base stations
- Provides technical expertise on procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation in order to evaluate correct progress
- Contributes to deliver customer projects in time that meet the customer needs
- Elaboration of calculations for the prediction of non-ionising radiation immissions (NIR) in accordance with the Federal Ordinance
- Negotiation and validation with operators' radio planners the solutions to be implemented
- Management of external partners in carrying out NIR calculations ensuring the quality of NIR calculations according relevant guidelines and regulations
- Act as a main contact for NIS projects between internal teams, customer and partners
- Analysis of the performance of existing mobile phone base stations and identification of potential improvements in the customers' network
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting of several NIR activities in parallel
