Senior Project & Change Manager (NGO) (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Prepares for change (defines the change-management strategy, prepares the change- management team and develops the sponsorship model)
- Manages change (develops change-management plans and coordinates their implementation)
- Reinforces change (collects and analyses feedback, diagnoses gaps and resistance, and implements corrective actions)
- Tracks progress in implementing the change-management plan as a whole and monitors the status of individual interventions
- Works closely with key project stakeholders (e.g. Workstream Leads) to align change-management tasks with other project or division activities, and interacts with members of the Organizational Development Unit and Project Management Office
- Supports the project sponsor, sponsorship coalition and line managers of affected staff in carrying out their change-management duties
- Escalates change-management issues and risks to project management, together with proposals for addressing them; assists with, and monitors the impact of mitigation efforts
- Monitors attitudes towards the change among affected staff
- Works closely with key project stakeholders to address resistance and increase readiness and acceptance
- Shares experiences and contributes to the continual improvement of change-management practice through the Project Management Office and internal change-management community
- Maintains an overview of the project's progress and expected benefits, and a detailed view of the status of individual deliverables, and maintains a detailed work plan, documenting and managing interdependencies, decisions and risks, while ensuring that appropriate risk-mitigation measures are in place and regularly monitores
Main qualifications
- Global project management or change management, ideally including HR or Benefits projects
- Prosci certification is required, accreditation by the Association of Change Management Professionals is beneficial
- Certification in communication, facilitation (e.g. by the International Association of Facilitators), project management (e.g. by Project Management Professional or PRINCE2), programme management (e,g. by Managing Successful Programmes)
- Profound project and change management skills and certifications to demonstrate advanced knowledge of project and change management
- Ability to work in a global environment and working autonomously with a variety of stakeholders
- Open to change and new information and ideas and adapt to the same, while having a good general knowledge of the IT world and technologies
- Must encourage and foster cooperation and teamwork, and be comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Capacity to work in an international environment
- Profound English skills and French knowledge
