Associate HR BP (NGO) (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
  • Provide effective HR consulting and advisory, including bringing in other expertise and services from within and outside the HR function, as needed. Plus, advise and council managers and staff members, where needed
  • Understand the strategic business plans, issues and challenges of the business areas, and their HR implications and ensure timely and appropriate HR solutions are implemented to meet anticipated challenges
  • Facilitate and support excellence in human resources management by providing ongoing HR advice to managers and staff on timely HR solutions, policies and practices objectively, with highest integrity, and based on best professional practices
  • Work closely with the Workforce Planning and Analytics functions, support and advise on development and implementation of effective staffing plans, that are agile and relevant to meeting the business objectives of the Divisions and Departments. Use HR analytics effectively 
  • Support implementation of change and facilitate agility in the Divisions and Departments in a changing business environment using organizational development, change management and team building methods and techniques
  • Coach and guide managers in good people management practices
  • Advise staff on professional development and career management issues
  • Provide informal mediation and reorient relationships to reach a mutual settlement using effective conflict resolution processes and techniques. Support conflict between managers and employees ensuring impartiality and a non-biased approach. Facilitate timely resolution of work place conflicts at the lowest possible level
  • Communicate policies and procedures to employees and managers. Enforce standard HR policies and procedures. Prepare for different situations so can quickly respond to employee and manager needs. Encourage managers to make talent decisions that support diversity goals and equal and fair treatment and opportunity. Facilitates an open and equitable environment
  • Departments and Teams: Support the Manager HR Business Partnering with coordination of HRBP meetings, operational HRBP activity such as SharePoint / MS Teams management, continuous improvement logs and keeps track of HRBP actions


Main qualifications
  • Bachelor/Master's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Finance and Business administration, Public Sector Administration, or related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant and progressive HR BP experience
  • Demonstrated mastery of human resources, organizational development and change management theories, methods, processes and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience of HR processes, such as performance and talent management, rewards and employee relations
  • Proven ability in working effectively with stakeholders
  • Track record of results in applying human resources skills on improving business performance
  • Demonstrated planning capabilities, proven consulting and process facilitation skills
  • Project and change management experience and stakeholder management at staff and manager levels
  • Demonstrated strong team work skills in working across organizational Divisions and Departments in a supportive and collaborative manner
  • An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French or one of the following: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish
