Change and Deployment Manager - Fully remote within EU or Switzerland for a long-term vacancy requiring profound SAP knowledge for our Zurich based client in the Financial Services sector.Your tasks:
- Driving and managing the overall Change and Transport management
- Tracking the release content by ensuring quality assured changes are only getting deployed
- Identifying potential causes for transport failure and route towards resolution
- Understanding dependencies of different object types and proficiently conclude
Your experience/knowledge:
- 6+ years of experience in SAP BASIS with ABAP or ABAP
- Well versed with Transport Management, STMS related tcodes and validations and the ability to analyze TR failures and identify if is technical/access/system
- Capability to navigate through Technical issues in TR failures and route to developers with correct guidance plus a good understanding of Change and Release Management process
- Strong decision making skills and orchestrate E2E smooth release as well as transport management
- Good understanding of using tools like JIRA/SNOW to create various dashboards for business stakeholders
- Ability to validate Test evidence for requirements and get necessary approvals before production deployments plus track changes deployed per the release cadence and validate held out changes
