Product Owner / Lead - Accounting / IFRS - long term contract opportunuty to join a globally operating Zurich based company within Financial Services.Your tasks:
- Managing the end-to-end financial platform implementation using SAP FPSL and FI-GL to enable group and local IFRS 17 reporting
- Ensuring requirements are compliant with the accounting standards and can be implemented in the SAP FPSL and FI-GL landscape in Asia
- Serving as a link between the local stakeholder and the global project team to optimise their contribution and support the sprint planning between them
- Participating actively in the agile project delivery - sprint planning, JIRA, retrospective, etc. following a DevOps approach
- Prioritizing product backlog items and sprint backlog epics and stories based on progress and changing project circumstances
- Fostering knowledge transfer to stakeholders and the run organisation by supporting regular sprint reviews
Your experience/knowledge:
- Expert level knowledge of (re)insurance accounting business requirements and ability to communicate them effectively to product owners and stakeholders
- Solid grasp of IFRS17 financial reporting standards
- Expertise with configuration of a standard accounting solution - preferably on an SAP platform
- Understanding of end-to-end system landscape and how the data flows from source to produce the required bookings, reports and interfaces
- Ability to understand implementation design for new solutions along with system knowledge and project experience
- Knowhow of China local regulatory requirements, such as MOF, CBIRC, PBOC, etc. - highly desirable

- Strong delivery focus as well as analytical capabilities
- Experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment in larger scale agile projects
