Business ANALYST (Senior profile)

Our client from the finance environment in Zurich is looking for an English-and German- speaking Business ANALYST (Senior profile).

Conditions:

- Start date- or negotiable

- Duration- until 30.04.2023 with extension opportunity

- Work capacity- 80-100%

- Work model- Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days offsite).

About the role:

- Supporting the current development of our real time market data eco system

- Independently create your own concepts based on your interactions with the team and other stakeholders to further progress the market data system and applications

- Present new ideas based on market knowledge and develop them with key stakeholders

- Understand customer needs and develop them into concepts based on the client landscape (current and planned)

- Business-side specification and support of solutions for the integration of new services and functions with the key IT stakeholders

- Support the product and content teams in maintaining and evolving the conceptual market data business model

- Modelling of own concept in existing database models

About you:

- Bachelor's or higher education degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science

- At least 10 years of working experience in financial services and as a business analyst or market data specialist, and a robust knowledge of financial markets and securities instruments, preferably knowledge of real time data industry and financial market in general

- Preferably knowledge in handling data on display and non-display licenses

- Preferably technical knowledge of server architecture to fulfil parts of your main duties

- Informed about current trends and directions in crypto markets

- Informed about current software architecture developments used in modern financial software

- Analytical, technical, problem solving, and communication skills are a key strength

- Collaboration skills and experience in performing in a globally spread virtual team, including a good knowledge of current collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
