Information ArchitectBackground:
The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) business function is going through profound transformation and driving towards truly end-to-end processes and efficiency across all elements of the PT value chain. The PT Informatics organization wants to strengthen its capabilities to support solutions that will be operating in a highly regulated, fully compliant and secure enterprise environment. The successful candidate will deliver for Pharma Technical Operations Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) the following deliverables. The perfect candidate: The successful candidate has senior experience in defining data used/created, data standards, information model, information flows for manufacturing and supply chain, where possible within Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT). The background should be as Solution or Information Architect.
Areas of responsibility:
- Identifying areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, information representation and advising project teams in best practice and implementation
* Recognizing and resolving conflicts between models, ensuring that information and data models are consistent with the enterprise model (e.g., entity names, relationships and definitions)
* Reviewing and approving information and data model designs with a focus on those areas influencing interoperability, analytics including compliance with the enterprise information model
* Ensuring integration of project logical data models into the enterprise information model
* Maintaining repositories for representing the data elements including the entities, relationships and attributes, the information flows, business glossary
* Participating in the development of a usable information architecture, which will include a data model and a common business vocabulary, which will then be used to guide solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio
Must have:
* Min Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or similar
* Min. 5-7 years of experience as (Solution) Architect, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry
* Strong knowledge in enterprise information solutions, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, data interoperability, analytics, data integration
* Experience in defining data used/created, data standards, information models, information flows for manufacturing and supply chain, where possible within Cell and Gene Therapy
* Experience in Agile (e.g. Scrum or SAFe)
* Fluency in English (spoken and written)
* Exhibits strong soft skills typically required as an architect (i.e.: presentation and public speaking, negotiation, challenging the status quo)
* Drive the increase in maturity and knowledge of information related topics across the organization through education and mentoring
* Encourages a data citizenship mindset ensuring we all collectively take responsibility and accountability for the data we create, consume, manage and share)
