Solution Architect vacancy requiring profound Front Applications knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Defining and communicating the technical and architectural vision, the architectural runway and the guardrails for the Scrum teams
- Analyzing trade-offs between different alternatives and create transparency about technical debts and tactical and strategic investments
- Presenting architectural options to senior management and decision boards
- Decomposing systems in components and subsystems while defining their interaction patterns, and specifying the interfaces between them
- Ensuring that software and integration architecture complies with the company's enterprise wide standards and guidelines
- Collaborating with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Domain Management, Suppliers and Customers to ensure that architecture is fit for purpose
- Conducting evaluation of new technology platforms and components and be the primary interface to product and technology vendors
Your experience/knowledge:
- 1+ years of experience in an architectural role within the financial industry or consulting with banking or insurance focus
- 3+ years of experience as a web software developer with Java, .Net, JavaScript, React, Angular and relational databases knowhow
- Expertise with digital channels like eBanking, mobile banking and prospect portals
- Knowledge and curiosity in current technologies, IT trends and financial market developments
- Experience with agile projects and programs, SAFe certification is advantageous
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and other cloud technologies
- University degree in engineering or computer science

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
