Group Financial Accountant and Controller (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- As Group Financial Accountant you are an integral part of the headquarter finance team to meet the financial reporting and analysis requirements of the Group
- In the team you assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts to strict deadlines for inclusion in monthly board reporting including key performance indicators and cash flows
- You have financial controller duties involving ad hoc analysis and reporting as well as investigating variances
- You are responsible for the on-going coordination with all key stakeholder groups to resolve reporting, process and accounting issues
- The preparation of the budget, forecast and variance analysis is one further task
- In addition you assist in the annual IFRS consolidation audit process
- You are involved in ad hoc and continuous improvement projects, as they arise
Main qualifications
- You are a qualified accountant with a diploma/degree in accounting with post-qualification working experience
- Profound knowledge about IFRS accounting
- Big 4 experience or experience in a large PLC environment is beneficial
- Able to lateral thinking and thinking individually with advanced analytical skills
- A strong sense of responsibility, ownership and attention to detail is required
- You have a positive, enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to learn
- The interest in technology and willingness to understand the technical landscape
- You are keen to identify process improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and preferably familiar with Microsoft ERP
- Experience with Analysis for Office and Power BI is beneficial
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), German is beneficial
