Your tasks
- Perform business analysis of as-is and to-be subledger reporting requirements
- Perform analysis and documentation of FPSL subledger HANA tables
- Write technical specifications of required reporting views to support report UI development
- Effectively communicate requirements to application developer for both views and UI
- Execute functional testing of reporting views and UI reports to ensure all requirements are implemented properly
- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and resolve accordingly
- Support documentation for user training purposes
- Ensure reporting standards and consistency across the sprint teams
- Become trusted expert on reporting requirements and execution within the sprint teams
- Keep Product Owners informed of progress; escalate any issues
- Liaison with the ATLAS Reporting team to ensure integrated approach to reporting requirements
Must have competences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a background/specialization in accounting or Business Administration/Accounting/Finance with a background/specialization in IT/Business Analysis
- Minimum of four years equivalent business analysis or requirements engineering experience required
- Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting, ideally in the insurance industry
- Previous reporting and reconciliation project work
- Experience with databases and querying languages
- Experience working with agile concepts and methodologies
- Able to prioritize tasks and drive deliverables to completion
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network and understand the workings of the project
Nice to have competences
- SAP Certifications and/or Data Warehousing designations is a nice to have
- Experience with SAP BW, S/4HANA, FPSL preferred
