For a remote project at our client‘s site, an international insurance company based in Zurich we are looking for an experienced
IT Business Analyst - Corporate Life & Pension
In this exciting role, you will work in the area of Corporate Life & Pension and will be responsible for different working environments like integration with a platform, work with suppliers, UI build, agile development methodology etc.
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of working experience as an IT Business Analyst within Financial Services (Insurance preferred)
- Sufficient business analysis experience to plan, conduct and facilitate workshops with experienced business users and technical experts
- Previous knowledge of working in an agile development environment
- Experience of working in an international environment, used to working across different countries / cultures
- Ideally experienced in designing and specifying APIs, UI specification for quote & buy, payments, servicing and claims
- Ability to take ownership of own activities and execute technical or business tasks yourself where needed
- Communicate effectively through different mediums at all levels
- Fluent in English, good Spanish knowledge is beneficial
Your Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements from the relevant business functions and drive the signoffs from the management stakeholders
- Translate selected business requirements into meaningful work packages and activities
- Produce requirement specifications (detailed user stories with acceptance criteria) and outline solution design documents
- Responsible for elaborating the implementation plan considering the various applications involved
- Drive and coordinate implementation, define the test strategy and perform the SIT tests before solution is submitted to business users
- Collaborate with workstream lead for risk assessment, project scope and development
- Support post-implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits
