Clinical Contracts SpecialistLocation: Ticino, Switzerland
Duration: 6 months (possibility for extension)
My client, a pharmaceutical company based in Ticino is currently seeking for a Clinical Contracts Specialist. You will be working within the Clinical Research and Development Department managing communication with the Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) for all contractual and administrative topics.
Tasks:
- Management of legal documents needed for investigational site activations such as: Confidentiality Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements with Sites and Investigators, Letters of Indemnification, etc.
- Support in contract negotiations with international CROs: preparation of RFPs, assessment of proposals, evaluation of contractual and financial aspects etc.
- Interact directly with the CROs in close collaboration with all involved functions of the Clinical R&D as well as with other departments such as Legal Affairs, Finance & Administration, and Project Management & Controlling.
Requirements:
- University Degree (MS level or higher) in a scientific discipline (Postgraduate legal education and/or formal training in contract negotiation techniques constitute a plus)
- Documented previous experience of at least 5 years in clinical contract management in pharmaceutical companies and/or international CROs
- Documented knowledge and/or experience in the regulatory and legal requirements of the key countries where large, international clinical studies are typically run
- Excellent knowledge ofwritten and spoken English, Italian a plus
- Analytical skills, accuracy and synthesis capabilities as well as organizational skills
- Ability to work in teams as well as independently
- Willingness to work in a strong and changing corporate environment
