For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Operational Risk, Control & Policies Specialist
In this exciting role, you will work closely with all divisions and functions to provide central coordination and due diligence for the Bank's external workforce.
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience as an Operational Risk & Control Specialist
- Several years of professional work experience with increased levels of responsibility, preferrably within the area of external workforce management, Audit or HR recruitment
- Strong diligence and compliance mindset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
- Very good interpersonal and problem-solving skills plus the ability to work independently and proactively
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and organizational skills plus the ability to multitask
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Management of operational risk processes
- Controlling of testing and reporting related to Audit, SOX and compliance requirements
- Execution of monthly contingent worker background screening control process for verification of completions
- Responsible to drive, resolve and document closure of procedural issues or risks in close collaboration with team subject matter experts
- Providing project management support on key initiatives and projects related to the external workforce
- Supporting initiatives to automate processes and provide expertise in testing
- Acting as a point of contact for contingent worker policy and procedure-related questions, especially in the field of contingent worker background screening and standards of conduct
