Beschreibung

Senior Operations Specialist in Fee Management vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:

  • Business degree or successfully completed apprenticeship within the finance industry
  • 4+ years of professional experience in securities settlement and financial accounting
  • Ability to analyse problems, propose solutions, act appropriately, responsibly and mitigate risks at all stages
  • Capability of handling multiple challenging priorities and assignments while demonstrating risk awareness and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
  • Background in process analysis as well as identification and implementation of improvements is desirable
  • Practice in developing business requirements for small enhancements and Excel skills are a plus
  • Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is preferable

Your tasks:

  • Managing Calculation, Claiming and Distribution while assuming responsibility for an efficient, accurate and timely management of Structured Products and other fees
  • Executing daily reconciliation of internal suspense accounts including investigating and resolving deviations
  • Confirming efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing fees and compliance with VAT and financial accounting requirements
  • Provide support for all internal and external stakeholders while acting as liaison officer between Issuer, Sales, Trading, Product Control and Financial Accounting
  • Producing periodical reports for stakeholders from Sales and Trading Services, Financial Accounting, Product Control as well as Divisional Finance
  • Driving minimisation of process risks and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
  • Ensuring timely supervision of business risks, review and development of internal business processes, analysis of methods and processes related to efficiency, risk and regulatory requirements as well as immediate and appropriate escalation of potential risks or losses
