Your tasks
- Managing end-to-end solution delivery from idea formulation to hand-over to Service Management building and maintaining strong relationships with various business partners / project stakeholders.
- Understanding customers’ objectives to define the appropriate engagement model and lead the initial setup, blue prints and developments / implementation plans for future mid/long term IT Solutions.
- Leading and directing the project team, possibly geographically dispersed, including external providers.
- Ensuring completion of all project management deliverables to required level. Proactively managing project / program risks, establishing effective controls and driving mitigation actions. Tracking key project metrics, issues, risks, changes and to produce monthly status reports. Ensuring compliance to quality standards for project deliverables.
- Ensure integration among project team members. Ensuring alignment with Service Management and supporting ramp-up of operational model.
- Providing full transparency regarding projects execution in terms of budget, timelines, scope and quality status
- Active, “hands-on” participation, working directly with stakeholders to create initial traction for EDAA’s services and products.
- Promoting EDAA as Data & Analytics Delivery and Advisory organization.
- Keeping abreast of company and industry trends in data and analytics, as well as data and analytics tools and technology.
- Building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders from BUs and Group Functions. Same with external parties (cloud provider, fintech…)
Must have competences
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science and/or Business Management and 8 or more years of experience in Data and Analytics/ insurance industry field.
- Project / Program management, Software engineering and Software development: Proficiency Level High (preferable in the area of data analytics).
- Good understanding of BI concepts (ETL, Data Mart, Data Warehouse, Data Lake), practical work experience beneficial
- A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long-term risks and implications
- Strong communication and presentation skills up to C-Level and strong stakeholder management skills in global and complex contexts.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), other languages are beneficial.
Nice to have competences
- hands-on” experience and knowledge in delivering SAP BI centric solutions (BWR, BW4HANA, SAC, …) desired.
- PMP, Prince2, SCRUM master
