Solution Architect - (80-100%)Project: As a member of the Front Application delivery unit, you will act as a the Solution Architect for a Triple A Agile Release Train. You will work closely with the Program Manager, Release Train Engineer, other architects and the SCRUM teams to drive the delivery of the roadmap to enable our customer to further their digital services and offerings.
Tasks:
- Define and communicate the technical and architectural vision, define the architectural runway, and define guardrails for the SCRUM teams.
- Analyse trade-offs between different alternatives and create transparency about technical debts and tactical and strategic investments.
- Present architectural options to senior management and decision boards.
- Decompose systems in components and subsystems, define their interaction patterns, and specify the interfaces between them.
- Ensure that software and integration architecture complies with enterprise wide standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Domain Management, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure that architecture is fit for purpose.
- Conduct evaluation of new technology platforms and components and be the primary interface to product/technology vendors.
- Support the development of application and program roadmaps by providing technical expertise and effort estimations.
Skills sought:
- At least three years of experience as web software developer (e.g. Java, .Net, Java Script, React, Angular, relational databases)
- Experience with agile projects/programs (SAFe certification is an advantage)
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and other cloud technologies
- At least one year of experience in an architectural role within financial industry or consulting with banking / insurance focus
- Good understanding of Temenos Triple A
- Sound understanding of portfolio management activities of an international wealth management enterprise
- Knowledge and curiosity in current technologies, IT Trends and financial market developments
- Strong personal drive with good organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with the integration of Triple A to other systems using Temenos applications or OData desirable
