Buyer (Software License)- Strategic Procurement vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 7,5+ years of working experience in a procurement role as a buyer or sourcing manager in a fast paced and international environment
- 3+ years of experience in Software license agreements, business case production and review with large Software companies
- Strong understanding of scoping, license models pricing models, performance measurements including setting service standards, SLAs and appropriate license entitlements
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint as well as the ability to easily learn other standard procurement and demand management tools
- Ability to analyze markets and gather intelligence on market conditions and supply/demand drivers as well as project management skills
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, proficiency in German would be an advantage
Your tasks:
- Coordinating execution of procurement processes for software purchases while also ensuring continuity of sourcing value and process to respective initiatives throughout the lifecycle
- Demonstrating sourcing value and process to respective initiatives at senior levels within Procurement and the wider CS organization
- Developing credibility and operating as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for software
- Operating as a first point of contact for the business stakeholders with respect to software vendors and related procurement
- Building effective and cooperative alliances externally with key vendors and managing directly those vendor relationships from a commercial perspective
