Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Data Management Specialist to join the Data Management team. The role will help to maximize the value of the data within the business by providing trusted, secure, high quality and compliant data in an agile manner
This is a 6 mnth contract based in Zurich
Main responsibilities
- Engage key stakeholders for data management topics and drive the execution by identifying critical data assets in collaboration with SMEs located across the globe
- Embedding data ownership
- Building divisional data catalogue
- Supporting stakeholders with data quality and control assessment & monitoring process
- Seeking opportunities to exploit the data.
Your skills:
Alongside your passion for data and a high motivation to work in project teams, you will also be able to demonstrate
- 2-5 years of experience in data related work fields in consulting, data science, IT, Business Intelligence or corporate environment
- A sound understanding of data management principles, including data architecture, governance, quality management, analytics & usage, and security.
- Preferably experience or interest in banking and basic knowledge of financial products and key processes
- Knowledge in SQL, Data Lake technologies, Python and Tableau
- High sense of responsibility and independent working practice, showing initiatives and high level of reliability
- Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
