For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated
German speaking Monitoring Specialist
This challenging project requires great responsibility and accurate work method to work with amounts in the high billions. You will accurate update on the bank's intraday liquidity reporting. You will be responsible for the processing and control of CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) payments as well as for control tasks as CLS Shift Manager.
Please be aware that this is a role within a sensitive environment. You will have to undergo a background screening, which takes some additional time. We, therefore, prefer local candidates.
Your Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial service sector as well as completed commercial education or equivalent education
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Flair for numbers, flexibility, discretion and enjoyment of electronic tools
- SWIFT knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience within cash settlement or within management area is a plus
- A precise and fast way of working with high quality awareness
- Resilient personality with a high level of motivation and commitment
- Willingness to work in shifts between Swiss time in early and late shifts of 2 rotating weekly
- Business fluent in German and English
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and managing liquidity/funding on around 1200 Nostro accounts within over 200 banks in over 60 currencies and respective investigation on differences or breaks
- Provide intraday liquidity reporting to business
- Calculating and raising cost cases within breaks/delays on settlement
- Calculating and processing interest on the Nostro accounts
