Packaging Engineer (100% Temporary)

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager with proven pharmaceutical experience.
Main Tasks:
- Provide oversight for the packaging regarding the design, development, and testing
- Support the primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging
- Lead complex packaging projects from the beginning to the end stage
- Oversee the packaging life cycle by identifying packaging design, materials, technologies etc
- Involved with suppliers, junior and support staff engineers
- Collect and analysis data
- Scheduling and budgeting of the products and materials
- Handle the shipping qualification
- Provide support on a global level, such as global brand protection and reduction of environmental impacts
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in the relevant field, either Packaging Science or Engineering
- 10 years of Packaging experience, 5 thereof in a pharma environment
- Experience with packaging materials such as plastics, film and foils, glass, tape, tamper seals etc
- Experience with Blister Pack design
- Project management
- Lean or Six Sigma training is highly desired
- English fluency
- German is advantageous
