Junior Accountant (Financial Reporting, Accounting & Controlling) (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Prepare journal entries relating to all Incoming Grants (Accounts Receivable Pledges, Contributions, PV Discounts, Deferred Revenue), including COVAX-related transactions, in the SAP Financial Controlling (FI) Module
- Prepare journal entries for secondees and other pro-bono services provided to the organization
- Process donor allocation transactions for reporting purposes in the SAP Grants Management (GM) Module
- Review and promptly respond to ad-hoc queries
- Ensure regular communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all organization policies and procedures in the above tasks
- Other tasks as required by the Senior Manager Incoming Grants as well as Manager Incoming Grants
Main qualifications
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work remotely and autonomously
- Excellent computer skills, in particular with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in SAP or similar accounting system (preferred)
- Integrity and principles-based work ethics
- Customer service and solution oriented
- Ability to promote sharing of information and cross-team work
- Able to successfully interact at all organisational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of French is preferred
