Junior Project Manager for External Workforce Framework Project - Change Management, EnglishRole:
For our client based in Basel we are looking for a Junior Project Manager for External Workforce Framework Project.
Skill shortages, evolving labor regulations, globalization and structural changes in organizations
are all trends that have necessitated a shift from the traditional model of acquiring and developing
talent within the organization towards a model whereby organizations are increasingly relying on
the external market (e.g. outside hiring, contingent and alternative work arrangements) to acquire
the skills they need to achieve their goals. As a result, the concepts of workforce and talent are
undergoing an evolution and organizations are looking at talent the traditional boundaries of the
enterprise.
The external workforce (consultants, contractors, and managed services personnel) is a
significant portion of the Total Workforce. Depending on the type and location, the lifecycle
of external workforce is managed by different processes, which are fragmented. A full
end to end framework would combine different processes and solutions (covering on- and offboarding,
processes, systems and data flows etc.), and involve various functions around a global
governance model.
The External Workforce Framework (EWF) Project aims at improving efficiency, addressing
compliance risk and providing transparency to, ultimately, enable a talent strategic approach. We
are introducing a range of solutions to enable these goals, including a new system to register
external partners, a support solution and team, and a reporting suite.
This is an exciting opportunity for a junior project manager looking to apply their skills to a global
transformation. We are looking for Project Management and Change Management support for a
6-month period.

Areas of responsibility:
* Working with project leadership to ensure an accurate and consistent cadence of status reporting, including maintenance of risks, issues, and decisions
* Development of communication materials for the project, including gSite maintenance, Currents posts, and global communications coordination
* Helping to repurpose and integrate available content for multiple channels and ensure that messaging and stories are coherent and consistent
* Support other topics/ activities as needed, such as data migration or reporting support among others.
Professional and technical requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or similar
* At least 2 years of working experience in Project Management and Change Management
* At least 2 years of working experience in Stakeholder Management
* Excellent communication skills. The ability to build long-term relationships and effectively influence
* Business fluency in written and spoken English language. French, German, Spanish or Mandarin is a plus
* Attest for the criminal record is required.
