Operations/Sourcing Support Specialist - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Electronic Order Systems e.g. SAP/Ariba, English, GermanRole:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a Operations/Sourcing Support Specialist.
The position as Operations/Sourcing Support Specialist is located in the Procurement department for Europe Professionals Services. The perfect candidate is someone who is experienced in working in international teams, which are located all over Europe. The candidate should have initiative and a solution-oriented mindset.
Areas of responsibility:
* Updating and creating simple reports on a regular basis (e.g. supplier master data, category updates, savings/spend reporting, etc.)
* Management of smaller projects within the Procurement department (e.g. Intranet updates, supplier onboarding)
* Support of specialist buyers in handling inquiries and project work
* Coordination and handling of administrative procurement activities
* Independent organization of simple sourcing events
* Supplier Due Diligence, setting up new suppliers
* Clarification of problems with orders and invoices with internal offices and suppliers
* Sending inquiries and monitoring receipt of offers
* Coordination of appointments and negotiation with suppliers
* Administration and compilation for contracts
* Organization of meetings, workshops and events
Professional and technical requirements:
* Completed commercial diploma or a Bachelor degree in Business Administration or similar
* At least 1-2 years of work experience with commercial diploma or at least internship experience with Bachelor degree
* Good knowledge of standard software e.g. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of Electronic Order Systems e.g. SAP/Ariba
* Fluency in English/ German written and spoken is a MUST
* Experience working in international teams or international environment/company
