Role & Background:For our client in the pharmaceutical sector we are looking for a IT Business Analyst and Lead for PT Analytics and Reporting stream. Our client is in the process of transforming it's ERP landscape to enable the "intelligent enterprise". This is driven by the ASPIRE program, which is a multi-year initiative aiming at defining and developing the functional ERP roadmaps in order to simplify, standardize and automate business processes and systems leveraging industry and best practices following a green field approach. ASPIRE is not about re-doing, it is about re-thinking and re-designing the backbone of our company.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Analytics and Reporting strategy. As an IT Business Analyst and lead for PT Analytics and Reporting stream you will be working in our multicultural, dynamic and innovative Analytics & Reporting (A&R) team located in Kaiseraugst providing reporting and analytical solutions to the community worldwide.
The perfect candidate is a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager, used to work in a global and multicultural environment with a very good technical understanding of the development side of a solution.
Your main tasks & Responsibilities:
-Support the design, build and oversee the implementation of Global PT Analytics and Reporting, operational and management solutions
- Ensure the solution fits to the existing and new PT (including Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Supply Chain Planning ) landscape requirements and the end to end processes/systems, interfaces and platforms
- Support implementation of requirements out of Define/Design phase of the program ASPIRE within A&R PT streams IT, Business and off-shore teams in order to guarantee the deliverables with full transparency on status and risk management
- Identify and resolve/escalate risks, issues and make decisions related to the solutions
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions for BI, Analytic & Reporting in the S/4 HANA and BW/4 implementation, SAC Reporting, all SAP and non-SAP systems relationship
- Review, validate Functional and Technical documentation
- Support architecture and design of the overall S/4 HANA landscape taking into consideration the existing Enterprise Architecture
- Transition from the existing and new processes/systems will be a key part in the role as this program is long term endeavor
- Collaborate with business and functional stream leads and service providers internally and off-shore team to deliver the solutions in your area
- Working in tandem with the business counterparts, represent business to the IT teams in the areas of BI, analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with business and IT to define test strategies, plans and oversee execution by SI
- Support program change management process
- Support PMO in progress reporting and other PM activities e.g. maintaining RAID (risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
- Conduct or support PoC's and pilots to validate the readiness, functionality and utility of advanced technologies such as AI, AA and ML
- Managing the engagement of Stakeholders and senior management
You have the following skills and experiences:
- 8y+ of working experience in computer science, software engineering or similar field in the pharmaceutical industry in a global environment
- 8y+ of experience as a IT Project Manager and Business Analyst in a pharmaceutical environment
- Deep knowledge and understanding of A&R for PT (Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Supply Chain Planning) and A&R SAP Tools (S/4 HANA, SAC, BW/4, HANA Native) including good overall understanding on transactional, operational business
- Proven experience in SAP ERP/BW - implementations/migration and rollouts in a global environment - preferable S/4 HANA and BW/4
- Understanding of S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics, BW/4 and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Good understanding of existing PT processes, global solutions and system
- Strong adaptability mindset to support an agile and dynamic environment of constant priority changes
- Open-minded and flexibility, with the ability to do hands-on work in order to accomplish the deliverables and deadlines
- Constantly looking for improvements in ways of working (Process/tools/organization)
- Works independently
- Fluent in English orally and in writing
- Excellent analytical and communication skills allowing to engage with business partners and understand their needs
- Managing the engagement of Stakeholders and senior management
- Strong communication skills
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge on non-SAP BI tools is a plus, especially Tableau
- Experience in working in Scrum/Agile projects
- Experience with SAP's Activate project management methodology, Solution Manager Project Documentation and Change Management
