Your tasks:
- Ensuring monitoring of the production systems, including analysis, debugging, and taking necessary actions
- Designing system improvements and new system components
- Implementing system improvements and new system components
- Guiding junior team members technically, in design, and in planning
- Conducting thorough monitoring and analysis to prevent or address potential system outages or issues
- Making current systems more stable, scalable, easier to maintain, and reduce their resource costs
Your experience/knowledge:
- Extensive experience as a software engineer in large-scale distributed computing
- Proven multi-year experience in leading others technically and in software design
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and build collaborative partnerships
- Experience with YouTube production systems and Content ID Match System is preferred
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Language skills: English and French - fluent in written and spoken
