Lab Technician (w/m/d)

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Duration: ASAP to ***** + possibility of an extension

Key Tasks:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs/GMP) and protocols.
• Utilize various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and others.
• Analyze and interpret complex analytical data accurately.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results, ensuring all data is accurately recorded and maintained.
• Prepare and process samples for analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to support research and development projects.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to provide updates on project progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory processes and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical techniques and technologies.

Key Requirements:

• A degree or apprenticeship in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
• Excellent communication skills, reporting and scientific skills
• Excellent ability to interpret complex analytical data
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail oriented
• Good inter-personal skills
• Enthusiastic and open-minded
• Willingness to learn and carry out new and complex tasks
• Proactive attitude
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
