Java Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Working as a Java Developer using Java as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Analyzing, designing and conceptualizing business requirements
- Introducing new technical and methodological impulses
- Optimizing the interaction between development, testing, operations and monitoring
- Ensuring highly scalable, distributed, and resilient systems through modern software engineering patterns
Your experience/knowledge:
- 6+ years of practical experience in Java Back End development in a financial environment
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, teamcity or gitlab
- A thorough understanding of distributed systems along with expertise in SpringBoot
- Well versed with horizontally scalable architectures and Linux environments
- Knowhow of messaging systems, like Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Higher degree in IT or similar professional experience
Your soft skills:
- Team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Passion for software combined with a structured working approach
