Findur Business Analyst

General Information:

Start date: ASAP

End date: 12 months contract

Workload: 100 %

Background :

Our client from the banking industry is underway in a crucial transformation program. As part of this initiative the Banking department is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of Business Process Improvements. This is a project part of the strategic program a nd its scope would be to focus on the process optimization within mainly the Back Office area.

Perfect candidate:

Experienced business analyst with ability to work on business process optimization and improvements initiatives, running requirements gathering and related workshops, but also working on the related documentation.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Analyse and design business processes around the trading applications. Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice. Interact with the relevant de-sign teams about translating requirements into detailed system specifications

- Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof. Coordinate and support business area acceptance testing for financial messaging projects

- Interacts with the other IT groups in the organization for systems design, integration, standards and change management.

Must haves:

- At least four years' business analyst experience supporting business applications in a banking/financial services environment (*)

- In depth knowledge of a trading application eg Findur/Endur (*)

- Ability to analyse business needs, challenge and distil into accurate and concise requirements documentation (*)

- Be familiar with full trade transaction life cycle, with a focus on BO processes (*)

- Ability to plan and run workshops and meetings independently, also produce materials in support of requirements gathering (*)

Interpersonal skills:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Communicates effectively with stakeholders.

- Excellent presentation skills, as well as, oral and written English skills

- Experience in financial transactions and operations

- Ability to take the initiative and organize own work; flexibility; service orientation; ability to perform under pressure against tight deadlines

- Good problem solving and root cause analysis approach

- An open mind: someone who will enjoy the exposure to different experts and areas both within and outside the organization, and continually improve, learn, and adapt with the team context

Nice to have

- Experience with the secure software development life cycle

- Experience with electronic trading solutions

- A proven track record of participating in large, business-critical projects that delivered satisfaction to stake holders.
