For a long-term project with our client in Geneva (remote work only possible within Switzerland), we are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d).

Your tasks
• Manage and record supplier invoices, and handle cash returns, payment reminders, and bank transfers
• Support departments and department heads with matters related to best practices and financial regulations (e.g., VAT, import/export), and assist employees with any requests related to invoicing or cost tracking
• Harmonize accounting processes across the division, both in Geneva and in the Group’s international entities. Proactively propose improvements and take a leading role in process development
• Prepare and present a monthly financial report on cost and budget monitoring per department, including analysis and explanation of significant variances

• Actively contribute to the budgeting process: support department heads, ensure deadlines are met, facilitate decision-making, and coordinate final approvals
• Establish and maintain regular contact with finance and logistics representatives in the Group’s subsidiaries; provide support on invoice-related questions and ensure follow-up on accounting entries and budget tracking
• Produce ad hoc financial analyses for the CFO and senior management
• Coordinate and ensure financial oversight of the division’s projects
Must have competences
• 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within an internationally operating SME
• Proven experience in budget monitoring and financial management
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Well versed in producing ad hoc financial analyses for the CFO and senior management
• A detail-oriented and open-minded personality with a quick grasp of new concepts
• Fluent in French and English, any additional language is a plus
Nice to have competences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or a degree from a University of Applied Sciences (HES)
• Familiarity with SAP or Tableau is an asset
