Kara,
I just want to weigh in that Olaf and Natalya have been tremendous assets to this effort.   This is from my vantage point and I am certain Jonathan and Ben have more insights into what all SAP team members have been doing to enable the POC.  I will forward their summaries to you as well.

Olaf:
  • Coordinated the lab set-up, configuration, and trouble-shooting.  This occurred both prior to the event and during the event.  He has approached each challenge w/ professionalism and keen sense of 'get it done quickly'
  • Worked closely with PTC to integrate their tool set to SAP via the ESI, which required configuration on SAP's end to match to outputs coming from PTC
  • Worked after hours and over the weekend to make sure the PTC demos would work as intended (from SAP side)
  • Routinely resolved any connectivity problems
  • Managed (daily) the coordination of team members and access to SAP, to lunch
  • Assisted with print-outs
  • Professionally represented SAP to team members and vendors
  •
Frankly, I don't think we would have been as effective without these two (and the other SAP team members).  They understand SAP and what we are trying to accomplish.  They have been team players throughout and did what was required to make this successful.
Thanks,
Steve

Olaf,

First, I want to personally thank you for supporting our team, during the ACGO POC.  You’ve dedicated a tremendous amount of time, both professional and personal, supporting our team’s requests.   You brought outstanding SAP expertise to help answer all our questions and went out of your way to make sure we have access to rooms, internet and other logistical items while we have been in Germany.  It has been a pleasure working with you.

Second, to put some context on the scope and magnitude of this POC, this has been one of the most complex POCs I have worked on in the past few years.  The complexity stems from the customer’s initial requirements to setup ‘as close to a production environment’ as possible.   It required each vendor to both configure their system within the SAP network and then connect, configure, and map to SAP for live management of AGCO data.  Given the 52 specific use cases, with over 380+ individual steps, many with numerous sub steps; creating our running, “production system” required effort rivaling an actual implementation.
You and your team, stayed with us through this entire process including, late nights on the phone in the weeks prior to the event, three consecutive nights to 12pm during the POC and your entire weekend during the POC (note that the demo for the POC was running for 10 days with up to 60 global AGCO representatives.
It is important to note that we accomplished (or will accomplish) almost every use case involving PTC and SAP working together.  We believe this will fulfill AGCO’s objective and meet PWC’s requirements thus making this a successful event for SAP and PTC.
We look forward to working with you on future SAP / PTC opportunities and I certainly owe you dinner next time you are in Needham
 Sincerely,
Matt Sheridan

Hello Olaf,
On behalf of the entire AGCO team, I want to thank you for your support during our PLM POC. We could not have completed this effort successfully without your team’s hard work and dedication. The lab was very professional and we were able to meet our critical goal to review end-to-end processes.
We do acknowledge that you have gone above and beyond in your efforts and it is truly appreciated.
Thanks,

Olaf,
I would like to sincerely thank you and Natalia for all of the hard work and collaboration you have given SPLM for the AGCO POC.  It is refreshing to have two competitors / partners present a combined message to a mutual customer.  From the planning phases virtually, to the face to face integration and planning sessions in California, to the customer delivery in Germany, you guys have been very supportive, engaging and insightful.  Oh, and let’s not forget the perfect hosting at your corporate headquarters in Walldorf.  I know this was a thankless job, and hopefully not part of your job description, but you did it effectively and flawlessly.  I hope that our collaboration and partnership leads to good business to both of our companies at AGCO in the future.  Thanks again for all of your efforts…..

Dear Olaf and SAP Team; I trust this email finds you well.

It should be stated your team have performed above and beyond in excellence and service for AGCO to assistance with value prototyping fellow vendor teams, PTC and Siemens.  I wish to thank you personally for making the event one which have proven productive and useful; as many do not see the long hours, hard work, and dedication required to make the interface between the vendors happen seamlessly. I am very impressed with the quality and ability of you and your team to quickly pull together the content and scripts for each vendor within the time frame provided.  Job well done!

I realize the EPLM proof of concept (POC) event has pulled resources and time away from other important projects for you and your team. The effort and dedication SAP has provided shows exemplar superiority of resources and software.  I am quite impressed with the domain knowledge, professionalism, teamwork, and prompt response by you and your team to meet the requirements for hosting the POC in the co-located lab in Palo Alto and Walldorf for AGCO.  The SAP team has performed effectively to provide AGCO with the ability to evaluate the different partner vendor products to determine fit to our corporate strategy of design anywhere / build anywhere.   This feat has not been an easy road yet SAP has risen above with flying colors.  This relationship and dedication of resources while providing best in class solutions has left a very positive impression with AGCO and my team.
I look forward to working closely with SAP in determining our interface and IT solutions required to achieve our objective.  Thank you again for your assistance and making this event successful.  Bravo!

it is the time of the year again, where we are stepping back for a moment to have a look at the achievements of the ending year.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your outstanding support regarding Vestas
Even if at the end it was out of our sphere of control to win the next consulting project, your value prototype put us in an excellent position to pick up the mobile construction topic again, as soon as Vestas is gaining speed on their mobility roadmap again.
Needless to mention that I would be more than happy to further cooperate with your team on any future customers.

 Thanks for spending the time.
One of his main goals was to see this prototype through fruition and all that it entailed.
Overall the input that I have received from Andreas is very positive on your personal insistence on “doing the right thing” and making the prototype as relevant as possible and truly something we can leverage.  I got the impression that the SAP team from Germany was truly focused on delivering a quality product.

Hi Olaf,

Olaf has done a fantastic job as the leaded for the Adobe Convergence Charging value prototype project. He has been taking a very active role in driving the overall project  from the beginning to the end.  It's because of his constant vigilance toward his work that the value prototype was successful delivered. His strong desire to get the job done correctly and his ability to discover areas that could be problematic has been invaluable to the success of the project.
Olaf has shown strong leadership skill. He led the kick-off meeting with clear agenda and wasted no time to drill and understand Omniture business processes. During the course of the project, he stepped up in many cases when issues arised to make sure they are handled in a time manner.
Olaf is reliable and committed to his work. He has been willing to go the extra mile without being asked. He also maintains his positive attitude personally and professionally. He is well-respected on the team, by the business and by the management team of Adobe.
Olaf is very fun person to work with and I am looking forward to working with him again in the future.
Regards,
Andreas
