I am a frontend focused software engineer based in the Berlin area. My main focus up to now has been mainly developing React / Node / Typescript / Golang based web-applications for high traffic e-commerce websites, which I've done for several startups & tech companies in and around Berlin since 2015.
However, I am continuously trying to improve my skillset with different technologies and enjoy implementing backend and infrastructure solutions too. In the past I've had experience in (tech) lead roles, and like thinking about how to best tackle application architecture, as well as sharing knowledge with others. I've also had the opportunity to coach some juniors which was a great way to share and help others improve their engineering prowess as well.

Core responsibilities:
- Improved frontend monitoring (introduce Sentry etc, Sourcemaps logic, etc)
- Refactored tech debt for FE app to use more standardised libraries (e.g. axios)
- Introduced more modular approach to the FE Payments App (using react-query, less redux usage)
- Implemented BE+FE integration with Stripe PaymentIntents API
- Contributed restarting the FE guilds to help improve developer experience and code quality.
- Documented current state of FE and set up strategies for improving/consolidating deployment flow and CI/CD pipeline strategies.
- Improved E2E testing strategy, coverage and testing stack.
- Contributed to new centralised transaction service, improved validation and error handling, created discounts handling module.
