Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Project Manager

For more than ten years I am working on data analysis in various business fields such as banking, finance, controlling, supply chain, procurement, M&A, and sales. My second field of expertise is leading complex, international transition projects. In the last two years, I was responsible for designing and implementing a data strategy at a global production company in the construction chemistry sector. Other projects were in the field of financial modeling, global insurance management, and controlling activities such as developing corporate KPI reports, working capital analysis, satisfaction, or order data analysis.

I completed my education with an MBA in General Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, one of the Worldwide Top 20 Business Schools according to the Financial Times (2022). In the last years, I have built coding skills in python for data analysis, statistics, and machine learning with two Nanodegrees from the leading online IT training academy Udacity (IDC, 2021) and further online courses. By this, I am able to create understanding for business use cases, as well as serve with a technological stack for implementation, specifically in the fields of data analytics, data architecture, and AI.

My strengths lie in my analytic approach and my problem-solving skills, which allow me to evaluate and prioritize project goals and initiatives, and integrate them well with your company’s strategic path. To help you decide on the best option, I will calculate and present you with possible approaches for the project, including benefits and costs. My hands-on approach allows me to take quick and good decisions and bring projects to a successful outcome.

My experience in a multicultural environment allows me to communicate effectively and convincingly with stakeholders from all fields, up to the C-level management, whom I was directly reporting to. Due to the close relationship of my work with the IT department as well as my coding skills, I am able to understand technical language and “translate” this appropriately into business processes, and vice versa.
 
I prefer a value-based approach, with friendliness, curiosity, and integrity being my core values. I have been always described as a very friendly, motivated, and motivating person, having the ability to stay calm even in situations under strong pressure, such as highly competitive negotiations. Due to my curiosity, I was able to learn python and SQL based on self-education. Integrity is key in a work environment, where I am entrusted with highly valuable and sensible data every day. I have also a high personal interest in ethics and philosophy and would love it if my thoughts would be beneficial to the projects I work on.
