Multivac is a packaging machine producer from Bavaria, Germany. My team aims to facilitate the end-user's work processes by building sophisticated smart services for various use cases, including advanced machine line control, maintanance managing, and device statistics. We leverage a combination of state of the art cloud technology with a Vue.js frontend and a Nest.js backend to integrate our apps into the HMI's attached to the packaging machines.

Together with OBI, Germany's leading home improvement retailer, the project is centered on advancing their e-commerce strategy. The core objective is to evolve OBI's online store into a fully-integrated marketplace, accommodating third-party vendors. This evolution requires a strategic shift from the SAP Hybris backend to the more versatile VTEX backend, redesigning and building all crucial micro-services and micro-frontends. My team's role in this transformation involves the development of the new Product Detail Page (PDP) as a microfrontend.
