Product Owner – German Cyber Security Firm

Felix advised a cyber security firm on its operational structure and internal procedures, tools and methodologies. Felix conducted a business plan review and developed an operating model for the young company. Felix identified external development resources, he defined work packages for the agile development based on Scrum, and he introduced Jira and Confluence for the daily collaboration. While holding the product owner position Felix supported the company founder raising a Series A funding.
 
Product Owner – Dutch Online Bank

Felix developed a digital platform business model for the European SME market together with the client and its customers. Felix managed the product backlog, the prototyping and the testing with target customers within an iterative process based on SCRUM. Felix held responsibility for the development of compelling customer journeys, he worked directly with the program manager, developers, testers and customers to define user stories, tasks, features and epics. Felix managed the product backlog and communicated the vision and roadmap to all stakeholders. He further set up a multi-dimensional test framework for acceptance, usability, service channel and feature tests.
 
Market Analyst – German Direct Bank

Felix and his team conducted a competitor analysis in the German market. The team also analyzed the FinTech / incumbent ecosystem in Germany and they conducted a market entry assessment. Further growth opportunities for a platform bank in Germany were assessed and the market opportunity for digital banking and for beyond banking services were quantified. Complementary Felix conducted qualitative interviews on customer needs, customer expectations from a modern bank and customer interactions with a modern bank.

Strategy Consultant – Polish Challenger Bank

Felix conducted a business model review for a Polish challenger bank which aimed at obtaining a German banking license. With his analysis, Felix supported the strategy development of the bank. Further, he participated in the Q&A sessions with the client where the findings were discussed.

Transaction Consultant – UK‘s Largest Retail Insurer

Felix conducted an IT Due Diligence on a technologically highly innovative insurance company experiencing a new benchmark for technical efficiency through micro services. Learning quickly about the acquisition target, Felix prepared a technology report to facilitate the acquisition decision.
 
EY Start-up Academy, Frankfurt

Felix supported multiple times in the planning and execution of EY’s Fintech accelerator program. He fostered inter-disciplinary team work and he personally promoted data driven business models as well as strategic alliances and partnerships.

Leading global IT infrastructure / service provider, Munich

Felix participated in an initiative of a major U.S. American IT service provider identifying partner candidates for strategic alliances, co-operations, co-opetitions, acquisitions and joint ventures. Aiming to build up an Internet of Things Ecosystem Felix developed a partner identification framework and implemented an ecosystem partner assessment model. Further, Felix assisted in conducting design thinking workshops and in the development of prototypes, focusing on user stories and customer experience design.
