§ Manage globally distributed departments and sub-teams (250 FTE).

distributed in a follow-the-sun operating model.

§ Continuously evolve and define Wirecard Credit Card Issuing IT strategy to support
large-scale product rollouts and support new go-to market strategies.

and DevOps/SRE teams into the global IT organization for maximising synergy and efficiency
o Philadelphia based card management and payments platform (E-count) o Dubai based card processing platform and teams
o Chennai based support organization (90 FTE)
o Sydney based DevOps teams and e-money and processing platforms
o Athens based technical operations teams and platforms
§ Spearhead Site Reliability (DevOps) adoption and drive implementation within Wirecard
o Unification and transformation of IT processes across multiple platforms, regions and technologies.
o Streamline 1st to 3rd level technical operations by massively improving on automation and fusion of communication and automation
§ Establish a cloud first strategy for Wirecard
o Introduce global application, platform and infrastructure E2E monitoring
o Architect the IT operations and infrastructure organization to scale, supporting
our global growth targets by achieving the highest levels of automation,
security and reliability of our services
o Drastically increase reliability and stability across all platforms by utilizing
automation capabilities of cloud providers and third-party products built for
the cloud.

§ Inception, transformation and Go-Live of global B2B Support and Service
Management Department based out of Chennai.

§ Drive definition of a global Target Operating Model (TOM) within Wirecard

§ Define and craft capabilities and service methods with my Teams in B2B Support
enabling global support of clients across our variety of products during all phases of a
client lifecycle from onboarding to go-live and in their following daily business.

§ Ensure global GDPR compliance of all Platforms within my accountability and beyond.

§ Establish new “follow the sun” support locations across the globe to expand seamless
24/7 SRE support coverage.

§ Engage with product management executives to bring a tech perspective towards
new products and evolution of product features.

§ Launch of North American prepay credit card Issuing platform on AWS enabling migration of existing US card issuing business to a new modern platform on the latest cloud native tech stack
