Herr Schäfer ist seit über 20 Jahre als Projektleiter tätig. Sein Schwerpunkt lag in den letzten 20 Jahren bei Projekten im SAP HCM Umfeld. Bis Ende 2013 war Herr Schäfer Direktor HR Consulting DACH & EE bei einem großen SAP HCM Beratungshaus. Dort leitete er das Geschäftsfeld Consulting in der DACH Region und führte erfolgreich Projekte auf nationale und internationale Ebene. Seine Schwerpunkte waren hier insbesondere Projekte im Umfeld SAP HCM, BPO und Shared Service Center.
Herr Schäfer baute in der DACH Region ein entsprechendes Netzwerk von SAP Beratern auf und war für die Weiterbildung/Ausbildung in der DACH Region verantwortlich. Enge Verbindung zu den Kollegen der SAP, SSF und Cornerstone werden gepflegt und Herr Schäfer berät bei Presale und Konzepterstellungen.
Durch seine Ausbildung als Betriebswirt mit Personalwirtschaft verfügt Herr Schäfer über umfangreiche HR Kenntnisse. In den letzten Jahren konzipierte er diverses HR Landschaften unter Berücksichtigung der gesetzlichen Vorgaben und Datenschutz-Richtlinien.
In den letzten Jahren lag der Schwerpunkt seiner Projektleitung in dem Führen von großen internationalen HR Rollouts, hier insbesondere im Bereich HCM und SuccessFactors.
Weitere Schwerpunkte seiner Arbeit in den letzten Jahren waren das leiten von Teams und Projekten im Bereich „Prozess Design“, „Change-Management“, „Testing“ und „Business Process Outsourcing“.
 
Durch seine Tätigkeit in internationalen Beratungshäusern hat Herr Schäfer auch große Erfahrung im Führen von internationalen Projekten. Die Projektgröße in den letzten Jahren hatte eine Spannbreit von 20 Manntagen bis 5000 Manntagen in internationalen HCM Projekte. Das Kundenspektrum reicht vom Mittelstand bis zu großen internationalen Konzernen.
