Projekthistorie
- Designing and implementing an IMAP-based spam checker centered around multiple open-source spam classification platforms from scratch
- The purpose is to filter mails after the mail provider has already processed them, augmenting the spam processing done by the mail provider
- Supports the very popular Apache SpamAssassin platform and Rspamd as a more modern alternative
- The application allows the user to train the integrated statistical scoring systems using known mails to further extend the classification accuracy over what the mail provider offers
- Implementing support for a broad set of IMAP servers while still using the IMAP extensions available on each server to allow for fast & efficient checking
- Responsible for maintaining the repository & implementation
Skills & Technologies: Golang, Mail, IMAP, SpamAssassin, Rspamd, SQLite, SQL, TOML, Linux, Git, Basic Machine Learning
