Description
OneSAP is a SAP consolidation project where two SAP platforms are supposed to be merged. XXXXX has chosen a brownfield approach which takes basically 80% of one of the two SAP platforms as a basis. We support the client in all project phases from Analyze over Design, Build, Test, Train, Deploy and Support.
Responsibilities
• Participation in the following phases of the project - design, testing and deployment
• Analyzing and Identifying the Controlling Process flows.
• Working closely with the business in identifying & closing the open points identified in the analysis phase.
• Responsible for Finalizing of the Controlling Blueprint.
• Preparing the configuration rationales and design documents in CO and validating the configuration in the client systems.
• Responsible for configuring the whole CO specific settings for the client – General Controlling, Cost and Revenue Element Accounting, Overhead Cost Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Resource Planning.
• Co-ordination with IDC (Indian Development Centre) team in off-shore (India) for RICEFWs development.
• Responsible for Activating of cost of sales Accounting (creating substitution rules for derivation of functional areas).
• SAP functionality of CO->FI Real Time Integration and New General Ledger (creating substitution rules for mapping secondary cost elements with GL accounts).
• Support provided for Test scenarios preparation (Assembly Testing and UAT).
• Working with Report Writer/Report painter tools for Controlling GR55 reports.
• Designing the planning layouts for Resource planning and activating the excel integration functionality.

The Client plans to implement a global SAP ERP and SAP SCM APO system to achieve a harmonization of processes and the IT landscape of its two legacies.In a first phase, the SAP system will be prototyped in Germany during the first 6 months and will then be rolled out to the countries in scope in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Responsibilities
• Conducting local Gap Assessments
• Participation in all phases of the project (analysis, design, deployment, Going Live, etc.)
• Functional Designer for FI (AR, AP, GL) and CO (PS Module and Controlling GR55 reports) responsible for Design, Configuration and Deployment.
• Configuration and Customization in SAP related to all business processes in SAP FI/CO.
• Optimization of business processes in SAP FI / CO with a focus on the areas of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable which includes processes like Automatic Payment processing, Dunning, Customer Account Statements, Master Data Management.
• Configuring and creating the Design document for the credit management process (Automatic Credit Control).
• Reviewing and updating the Business Process Documentation.
• Usage of Reporting tools like Report Painter for CO GR55 Reports.

Description
The Client will deploy the Global SAP Template to the Rhine. This has been designed to serve all FVCs (Fuel Value Chains) within the Client and already deployed to Iberia and ANZ. This means a simplified, standardized and integrated solution across Finance and Business Processes. Germany, Austria and Luxemburg are part of the first wave, whilst Poland, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland follow in the second wave (Release 3b).
Responsibilities
• Responsible for configuration in FI modules (AR, GL, supply finance), in order to help the finance team as a whole to finish the functional designs.
• Responsible for completing the process design for "average due date", based on the principles of Joint Venture Accounting. This topic was mostly supply dependent.
• Configuration and Customization in SAP related to FICO Modules
• Writing the Design documents in FI, for AR and AP processes like Dunning, Direct Debits, Payment Processing.
• Co-ordination with IDC (Indian Development Centre)team in off-shore( India)
• Support provided to the Business Analysts during String Test.
• Support provided to the developers during Unit Testing of the RICEFS
• Fixing defects, change management by using tools HPQC, Clearquest.
• Configuring the FI-SD Credit Management in SAP.

We started from STEP 1 of the project and it went go live in Jan 2011.IBM is the System
Integrator for Global Concerto. There are basically different modules viz. MM,
SD, FI & CO in which many RICEFs were planned and our responsibilities mainly
mainly included in the monitoring the development & testing of these RICEF objects.

This project involves synchronizing payroll with the entries made in the timesheets and
involves
AR Process - Billing to customer on basis of SLA and Time logged in ePTP functional Specification AP Process- Vendor invoicing based on time logged in ePTP.Excel file generated from ePTP will be modified with SLA numbers and uploaded in SAP Project cost Collection and Reporting Asset Management - To track the location of the assets, the asset is created as equipment in SAP MM Module. Location code can be created in MM module and assigned to Assets created as equipment. Payroll cost - Previously payroll was processed by an external agency. They are now sending the consolidated figures per expense head. Example: Basic, HRA, Conveyance etc. Now FI team has to process payroll based on data provided by accounting team after reconciling with the payroll.
